BE A BUDDY

Being a buddy involves encouraging,  motivating, as well as helping with tasks

 as needed.  A buddy may need to help a player put on a helmet.  Or choose a bat.  encorage and run with them base to base.  A buddy can help a player field or throw a ball.  but most of all a buddy is there to encourage the players and  Have fun!  And no, you do not have to be an expert or knowledgble  about baseball.  A great attitude is all you need.  Click below to sign up for a game!

PA law requires that all volunteers who have contact  with children must comply with obtaining clearances to work with children.  The law requires all coaches and volunteers involved with youth organizations to complete the following:

1.  state police criminal background check

2.  PA child abuse history clearance 

3.  If not a PA resident for the last 10 yrs, an FBI  criminal background check

4. volunteer affidavit

5.  babe ruth league requires all coaches to completechild abuse prevention training to comply        

     with federal law
